2025 Surron Light Bee X Green

A massive upgrade over the 2024 models — presenting the 2025 Surron Light Bee X. It’s a high-performance, virtually silent, ultra-light electric dirt bike with more power, smarter control, and increased durability across multiple components.

At just 57kg, it runs a 60V/40Ah lithium-ion battery paired with an 8kW peak output power system. For range, Surron’s claim of up to 75km assumes moderate throttle usage on mixed terrain. Realistically, aggressive riding, steep climbs, and frequent Sport Mode use will reduce that number. 

Acceleration is noticeably stronger than the 2024 units, launching from 0–30km/h in 1.3 seconds and hitting 50km/h in around 2.7 seconds.

A two-stage throttle curve gives riders the choice between a smoother Eco Mode for traction-focused control or an aggressive Sport Mode for maximum torque response.

Front suspension is handled by KKE inverted triple-clamp forks with 200mm of travel, while the rear features Surron’s Intersect TR multi-link system, purpose-designed for the Light Bee X chassis to deliver better progression and bump compliance.

The Light Bee X also comes equipped with one-piece forged 4-piston hydraulic brakes, which offer consistent braking force under repeated heavy use — a clear functional advantage over cheaper multi-piece systems.

The 60V/40Ah removable battery can charge from 20% to 80% in about 2 hours, and the design allows quick swapping for extended trail sessions. 

Top speed is approximately 80km/h. The 830mm seat height offers a balanced riding position, while the 19-inch front / 18-inch rear wheel setup helps maintain the Light Bee’s playful, flickable handling style.

2025 Model Updates

• Improved battery connector with a better seal to minimise water ingress
• New paint and finishing process for improved toughness and long-term durability
• 17-digit VIN across all bikes, enabling potential registration depending on local requirements.

These bikes include a 6-month manufacturing-defect warranty, which covers faults in materials or workmanship. It does not cover crash damage, misuse, or modifications. 

All units include documentation and access to Surron’s app ecosystem, allowing riders to manage ownership details and register the bike digitally.

This Surron is not road legal when sold and is intended strictly for private-property use unless the buyer completes the necessary compliance steps in their jurisdiction. Swanky Cycles strongly recommends using an Australian Standard full-face helmet and protective gear.
